Description:Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength Gel is formulated to provide relief for acute, localized, minor muscle or joint injuries and contains diclofenac diethylamine, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. This gel has a mild scent that disappears as the gel penetrates the skin and can be applied every 12 hours.

Indications:For relief of aches and pain associated with acute, localized minor muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries (e.g. ankle sprain, shoulder strain, back muscle pain, etc.)

Dosage for Adults Aged 18 to 65 Years:

• Apply 2 grams twice a day (morning and evening) on the painful area using the dosing card supplied. Do not use more than 4 grams per day.
• Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength can be used for up to 7 days for muscle/joint injuries. See a doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve within 7 days.

Directions:

1. Adults: Apply Voltaren 1% Gel 2 times daily for 4 weeks.

Warnings:

• Do not use:if you have a history of gastrointestinal disease, liver problems, kidney problems, or an allergy to diclofenac.
• If you are allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Rub Voltaren Emulgel on your point of pain in the following places:

• To make sure that the gel penetrates the mouth, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use painkillers that contain aspirin or ibuprofen, such as Motrin and Motrin-P.
• Stop using painkillers and call your doctor at once if they get too severe or do not relieve your pain.
